PABA Progressive ABA, Inc. was founded in 1993 by Kathryn Kellas, the mother of a daughter diagnosed with ASD autism spectrum disorder who made remarkable gains using ABA treatment adapted from the Lovaas replication studies. During her daughters diagnoses, intervention, and successful adaptation and complete mainstreaming into neurotypical environments, Kathryn developed her own innovative and comprehensive approach to treating and living with a child on the spectrum. Upon request, she offered her experience and knowledge to other families, professionals, school districts, and agencies as a private behavior and autism spectrum consultant. Her techniques are based on evidence-based research using ABA applied behavior analysis as the foundation to her wide variety of highly individualized approaches. In 2002 she was CSA/CSB approved, in 2003 she incorporated, and in 2011 she opened an ABA clinic inside Greenwood Christian Academy GCA to provide an optimal setting for ABA treatment services with the required BCBA supervision to complete her BCaBA. Today, PABA has FOUR experienced BCBAs onsite and continues to provide optimal ABA services.
